beads

i got bored tonight and decided that i was going to do something with the pretty sparkly pink beads i have...so i made a choker. it's hand knotted with really skinny white ribbon. next time i get bored, i should learn how to use my camera because i take really crappy pictures of stuff! so check out the choker.










and here are some bracelets i threw together some time ago. mostly they are made of glass pearls, swarovski crystals and various gem stone chips. nothing fancy and once again...really, really crappy pictures. i need to learn a little about photography real bad...

my first alteration

a couple years ago i bought these bad ass pants in a size 2. usually i can wear a size 2 and they are just a little bit big but these were HUGE. i put them on and they would fall right down to my ankles. i have entertained the idea of altering them myself ever since i got them and tonight i finally did it! they fit great now and you can't tell that they were altered!! i am so excited!! i wish i had thought to take before and after pictures. guess you'll just have to take my word for it...

green scarf

i knitted this cute lime green confetti scarf on a loom. i used some ugly ass green boucle and some confetti yarn together. i did not expect it to turn out so nice. it's amazing what you can come up with when you double up 2 ugly yarns!

doggi sweater

little mr. rascal poopi doopi in his little sweater that i crocheted.







now it's time to play with the sweater because it is more fun to play with than it is to wear! and also notice the bag in the background...that is the knitting bag that i made. it was my first major sewing project and i also made a matching crochet hook/knitting needle roll. i'm happy to say that it turned out almost perfect. i will be making a purse just like it when i get my sewing machine set up and there will be pictures of it posted on here!

first digi-scrap page

i like scrapbooking...3 dimensional...paper and stckers and ribbons and eyelets and stuff.

a good friend of mine just told me about digital scrapbooking a few days ago. i wasn't sure what to think of that. i always thought of scrapbooking as something that you actually make with
stuff...not on a computer using photoshop. i was not too sure about this new, weird concept. she sent me some links to her blog where she has her pages posted and to some other assorted sites where i could download and check out some free elements and as much as i liked
her pages, i still thought this concept was strange.

i finally sat down at my computer with my newly downloaded elements and put together a page for shits and grins. i must say that this is a hell of a lot of fun!

this is the first page i have ever done this way. it's a little thrown together since i was just playing around with it and i have yet to download more elements. i am pretty happy with the way it turned out though and i think that i may keep going with this and actually scrapbook all of my digital photos this way.



that is my dog rascal.

he is like my child and i love him more than life itself. there will be many more rascal pages to come...real soon i am sure.
